The labyrinth has long been a symbol of complexity, mystery, and the journey of life.

This unique wall sculpture, created over four months of intensive work, reflects both the ancient mythology of the labyrinth of Knossos and the intricate pathways we navigate in life.

In Greek mythology, the labyrinth of Knossos was designed to confine the Minotaur, a creature embodying chaos and darkness. It was an intricate maze that not only represented physical confinement but also the mental struggle of finding one’s way out of confusion and entrapment. The mythical hero Theseus, who ventured into this maze, symbolizes the courage to confront and overcome internal fears.

Similarly, this sculpture mirrors the labyrinthine paths we encounter in our lives. Each twist and turn embodies the choices we make, both externally and internally. Life often feels like a labyrinth, with invisible walls that challenge our perceptions, similar to walking through a glass labyrinth where barriers are unseen. We encounter moments where clarity eludes us, and the way forward seems ambiguous, testing our patience, resilience, and insight.

This sculpture is not merely a representation of the Knossian labyrinth but a meditation on the journey of self-discovery and growth. It invites us to reflect on our choices, how they shape our paths, and the profound internal journey that we all undertake. Each line and curve in this piece is a testament to the cyclical and evolving nature of existence.
